JetBlue launch first flight with a well expected delay!

JetBlue is launching today their first flight to Santiago, Dominican Republic their are begins as i expected with more then 2 hour delay. IT is now 8:40am and it is still not departed from New York JFK.

yeah how horrible

their first flight and they are delayed a bit..they will make it to STI a little over and hour late..wow...they are doomed! it is over for them.. If only they can follow Aeromar's great way of doing business

we are suppose to be hit with some bad weather

everything is clear for now

This is their first flight..so I am guessing it may have something to do with it

we have to give them more time to see how things work out


I hope for the best...it is all about competition

competition = better fares for us

They're off to a bad start, but they'll be fine. 1st international flight, weather, crew could've been late, baggage issues, who knows what happened. The overall JB customer satisfaction track record trumps many, if not all, of the players in the DR market. They'll get it right.

Funny, just last week or two, didn't someone post that it took them 9 hours from JFK-DR on AA???

Just noted that to point out that things happen. Now if the JB delays continue regularly over the next few weeks, then start the alarm. I'll try out JB next time down, if the fare is right.

Until then, enjoy JetBlue's immediate contribution to the market through lower fares all-around. You don't have to fly them to appreciate them.

Guys DONT PANIC operations reasons thats why ther late its allways like that on the first flight to a new destination NO MATTER the airline legals papers,traffic, weather ITS JUST NORMAL ON THE FIRST FLIGHT.

SO DONT PANIC THEY WILL BE OK!

So what? At least they actually have a flight and passangers made it to their destination.

This is no excuse, All other flights departed on time, such as Delta 324 depart on time, as AA833 also on time , just JetBlue, i dont know what the real problem is, but i thing luggage etc,...
