Im in Santo Domingo for a few months, but I need to get to Puerto Rico on either the 31st of September or the 1st of October. Air Santo Domingo told me all the flights for that entire week were booked. Somebody mentioned something to me about a ferry. Does anyone have any advice on how to get from Santo Domingo to San Juan?

AA has gobs and gobs of flights to San Juan, 6 or 7 a day, if I recall. The boat will take hours (overnight) and gets you to Mayaguez , no idea where that is in relation to SJ, and costs as much all told.
OK they have 6 a day, pick one: (The 7 a.m. and the 2:30 are real planes with jet engines and a_s_s room)

Even if flights are full, it would still be easier going on stand-by every flight all day long than catching that friggen ferry.
