United lists flights to Punta Cana from Chicago, Washington,D.C. and Los Angeles.

From this link looks like it is a flight from Chicago. Depart Dec 18 - May 1 non-stop on United from Chicago to Punta Cana.

United First Flight

Airplane arrived today at 14:46. Left on time at 16:00. There was a press conference so it should be on the newspapers and tv tonight/tomorrow. Loads were light being that it is the first flight. Congrats to United, another airline into the Dominican Republic.

PS: Airplane comes from chicago (ORD).

Can we know what type of plane they used???

And also, what type of a/c United will be using on those new routes.

Information we have is that United is flying an A-320 with capacity for 138 passengers.
