Member Rankings Bronze/Silver/Gold?

Hi,

I was wondering what the Bronze,Silver and Gold under the member name was for. And how can you go from Bronze to Silver. What are the significances of these things. Are they about how long you been a member? or how many posts you posted? or do you have to Pay to change your grade. Thanks.

It is # of posts. Gold is over 1,000 IIRC, everyone starts Bronze, not sure the transition to Silver.
