I'm planning to go back to the DR by the end of the month and I'll be looking for some budget (500-1000RD$/night) accomodation in Santo Domingo, preferably hostel style with maybe a kitchen and other budget travellers around.
A year ago or so, someone posted a list of some budget hotels in the capital, most of them in Gazcue. That was great but there were no phone numbers and since it was some time ago by now, who knows if they?re still there...?
Has anyone got a list, or knows the name of any of these and other similar places? Phone numbers or (even better) e-mail addresses is appreciated. It's about time for an updated list on this one since this question pops up once in a while.
I am also looking for similar, hostel-style accomodation in Boca chica
And while I'm on it, is there a risk would you say that it will be difficult to find accomodation in late january?
