If I didn't have a huge meeting that day I would love to have been there just to see/hear Jorge Castanedas.... I was in Mexico when the scandel with him broke out before his appointment to NYU. The man is scandalous....

I guess after all this is said and done Leonel will be appointed to Columbia U or NYU's faculty. I really wouldn't be surprised....

It's the new wave of recovering politicos...Dinkins, Gore, Newt G, Castanedas...
    LOL

Also on his March agenda to the US are other events that are open to the general public. See

On Saturday, 5 March, President Fernandez will travel to Boston for meetings with Massachusetts state business advocates and government officers. President Fernandez is also scheduled to be a speaker at the VIII Latin American Conference at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Fellow speakers are Enrique Iglesias, president of the IDB and Domingo Cavallo, former finance minister of Argentina. See http://www.mitsloanlatinconference.com/

On Sunday, 6 March, Fernandez will return to New York City where he will be the keynote speaker at the 10th anniversary of the Hauser Global Law Program of New York University. Titled “Globalization and the Future of the Hemisphere,” his speech will be given from 11:15am to 12:15pm at Vanderbilt Hall, located at 40 Washington Square South.
