cellular phone ??

can someone advise if D.R. has towers or service for cellular phones?..i have a dual band phone and if analog service is available, i would try to use it.... thanks for any info...you can post or email...i would appreciate it.......THANKS/NATHAN H.

The DR has analog and PCS cellular service (note that PCS is cheaper than analog, why? umm) Any analog phone phone will do. Only PCS phones that work on the 1900 Mhz signal (too bad Sprint PCS owners) work with Tricom, I don't know about Codetel.

Gerald - my Sprint PCS phone worked just fine...even at El Rincon!
