Current prices of Caribe and Express Bavaro

Last time I took these two buses they were each 200 pesos i believe... anyone know the current rate, or is it still the same....

I am once again making my way down to Bavaro and last time we drove we got into some trouble with the rental ... ( Long storrrrrrrrrry) and I am not going to go through the same crap again !

And does Express Bavaro still leave Santo Domingo at 4pm ??

The present fare of the "Express Ejecutivo Bavaro-Sto Dgo" to and from Santo Domingo and Bavaro is 250 pesos pp. The departure times at both ends are at 7 & 10 am - 2 & 4 pm daily. Seating is on a first come - first served basis.

Caribe bus from Sosua to SDQ is 220 pesos. I suppose it is somewhere between 200 and 220 pesos from POP.

Note: Must have been too tired when I keyed in the fare. The correct fare is 210 Pesos, not 250.

We took the bus system from La Romana to POP and from POP to La Romana last summer. Let me tell ya, its a long haul but the scenery is beautiful. I couldn't imagine going all the way to Bavaro. Did you know that you can fly one way for less than $100 US?

yes i did ... but last time me and friend went on the bus we ended up having a party on the way to POP from SDQ ... locals cracked open rum and we were drinkin !

I don't mind the bus ride ... except the one bus smelled like pee and whatnot but I think it from a girl who was sitting in the back and getting up and puking every 5 mins ...
