The nearest cigar factories are located in La Romana. La Romana is about two hours drive away. Have never heard of any tours of these factories, contrary to factories in the northcentral Santiago area. Since most cigars manufactured here are for export, you will find the better prices and broader variety are abroad. You may find cigars sold at hotel gift shops and somewhat better prices at the Plaza Bavaro.
