Capella Beach Resort

Has anyone ever stayed here and what comments do you have?? Thanks

This hotel has lovely hotel rooms, very private, good for romance. The beach is good, not the best in the country, but you can walk all along Juan Dolio beach. It is now under the Barcel? group management which bought it out from the original owners, so everything should be running fine. This hotel has a bunch of fine decoration details that were put in by one of the better Dominican interior designers.

I have not stayed at Capella, but friends of mine have and I have seen their rooms and parts of the property. Indeed, the rooms are very pretty, with rich wood furniture and trimmings - very romantic feel. The rest of the property is lovely.
