There has been a rumor going around in the DR that says that eating platano and listening to bachata makes people dumber. That may be the explanation for so many stupid drivers and crazy cycle and scooter riders all over the country. I am tempted to subscribe to this theory. Any opinions or, better yet, any scientific facts available to verify this? :cross-eye
