Directions for Santiago STI to Cofresi Beach, Puerto Plata

I am trying to figure out which would be the best way to get to Confresi Beach, Puerto Plata. This will be our first time driving from Santiago. I was wondering what the easiest and most scenic roads would be. I can't wait to be back it was been 6 years. Any help, advice and opions I would really appreciate it. I will be traveling mid March.

Why drive at all? Ask Roc?o Valerio at palomalinda0890@hotmail.com to have her husband pick you up. they are always punctual and offer perhaps the best door to door service currently available to people landing at STI--at any hour, day or night.

It is only about an hour away from Santiago..

If you insist on driving, just PM me and I will give you detailed instructions--the only interesting part is getting through Santiago..
