I know this hotel is on the Malecon in Puerto Plata and I passed by there when they were closed for renovations a few years ago. Anyone stay there recently? (I am assuming they have finished doing what they were doing to improve the place.)
Is it a good place to stay location-wise? I have'nt found any hotels closer to the the center of the city and I don't want to wind up far from the action, so if anyone can comment on this hotel it would be appreciated.
