I don't think we can book online...

Only travel originating in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, or the United States (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) can be booked via delta.com

Should I buy my Christmas tickets now or hold off? Are they going to drop in price? $hit is expensive right now. 800 plus.

Tigre airlines usually put a deal in september/october for the season so give it a wait. If you see that the price is increasing just buy it. You can always get a voucher.

Last year I paid US$780, salt lake city to santo domingo, and I booked the flight on september. Right now the lowest fare is around US$970. Looks like they reduce the fares in september.
