Nurses?

I am hoping to move to DR after my business sells. Does anyone know what nurses are paid (in US$). I know salaries are considerably less there, but I am curious to know if I could support myself. If it makes a difference, I am more interested in the rural/mountainous areas.

Well, I kept looking and finally found some threads from a couple of years back. Still, if anything has changed I would be glad to know.

I have looked into this and was offered a positon at a hospital in the captial. I was offered the equivalent of $200 US a month. Hope this helps. I cant imagine that you would make anymore in the rural towns. If you are going to do it, do it for the experience and not the cash.
