Flights to London from Puerto Plata ???????

I am trying to book a direct return flight from Puerto Plata to London Heathrow or London Gatwick in December this year.

Can anybody help with contact numbers or email addresses of local agents in the Dominican Republic, who can organise flights at reasonable costs.

I have tried Expedia, Travelocity,etc.etc., but they are all via the States and seem extremely expensive.

I have been told by airline staff at Puerto Plata airport that its possible to get a stand-by for $250 on a charter flight. I've not done it but thats my plan next time. Monday seems to have most flights with Thomas Cook, Wed is Thompsons, Thurs and Sun is First Choice. Thats when I checked yesterday, but it can change. I suggest getting on a travel agents charter flight web site and checking days and times, press the book icon to find out the airline then contacting the airline direct to ask about stand bys.
