Category 1?..for Dominican airlines.

Having now been upgraded by the FAA, to Cat. 1...does this mean that a dominican airline(s) are allowed to fly to Canada?....or are they allowed only to fly to the U.S.

Canada has its own Civil aviation departament With very strong regulations Transport Canada.Transport Canada never prohibited Dominican airlines to fly to Canada.

The only airline That did h charter services to Canada for almost a year was Dominicana.

Thanks for the reply....was trying to figure out approx. how much it will cost my novia (who lives in S.Dom.) to fly to Edmonton this July. For me, it costs $895.00 return....and i have a feeling that for her, it will be quite a bit more $..but i could be wrong on this...
