Paying DR bills from the states

I apologize if this question has already been asked but was unsuccessful trying to find it on the forum does anyone know if there is any way to pay bills for our apt from the states while we are gone. rent is not a problem but electric & phone don't want to turn them off

We pay............

........our Edenorte bills and Codetel/Claro Bills ONLINE...............from either the US or the DR whereever we happen to be when the bills come in.

We get all bills online too via email.

Edenorte: EDENORTE DOMINICANA S.A.

Codetel/Claro: Codetel

You have to register on the websites in order to pay them online. They are VERY EASY once set up.......

For other expenses

The online banking system from BHD Bank is the only one I am aware of that allows a user to make to payments directly to accounts at most of the major banks in DR. You only need to know the payee's account name, number, and type (i.e. checking or savings). I use this system and it works like a charm for me.
