Hi! I will be in La Romana for 8 weeks. Does anyone know of an english speaking AA meeting? Thanks.

I'm in NYC AA and have a friend, Yancy, arriving in DR this week.
Have you found any English speaking AA...saw a post for meetings at Sosua..Tropix hotel Tues/Thus/Sat at noon...John 809 571 0619...but it was from 2002...Have you had any luck ?...

The English speaking meeting place has changed. The new location is LaRoca restaurant downtown Sosua. Meeting times are the same. We meet upstairs.

Call John, he's been running the meeting for almost 20 years. If you have Skype PM me I can give you his contact there also.

While we're on the subject, anyone know of a meeting in the capitol or Boca Chica. Is there, perhaps, a web site with info?

AA English speaking group Cabarete/Sosua

We have an English speaking group of AA:

"North Coast English speaking group"
every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 12 o'clock
location between Sosua and Cabarete

We can pick you up if you need. We'll give you directions.
