This is my first post, and I had a few questions.
I moved to the Dominican Republic a year ago, and I have been living in Santo Domingo.
I am currently employed as a teacher in Santo Domingo - I have a B.A. in English, but no certification...which I know isn't really a problem.
However, I am wondering if anyone knows of any other jobs in the city available for English degree holders with dodgy Spanish? (Very good at understanding, really bad at speaking.)
I have a lot of writing and editing experience...so I was wondering - how common are jobs for technical writing of English, or editing translated texts? Any sort of analysis jobs?
I have been searching, but things are looking a bit bleak at this time. So I was wondering, anyone know anything?
