Hello Myself and a couple friends are planning on traveling to the DR. Were planning on going for about 4 months and have found a few places to stay in Sosua. Buttt i do have a few questions. Is it alright to go out at night? and if so where should we go/avoid.. any other places to stay for a reasonable price?.. General things we should be aware of? and were all 19 n chicas:p ive heard that that could make a difference..
any information would be great!

IMHO, Sosua is not the right place for a 19 y.o. It's full of old guys looking to hook up with young Dominican girls. Most tourists go to AIs and venture out during day time only. Consider Cabarete; there's lot of people your age, locals and expats; you'll be safe and will have better options for going out during day and night.
