Costs for getting around POP......

Hi everyone,

If you could please help me out it's been about 2 yrs and I can't remember the costs for taxi's from Grand Oasis to downtown POP?

How much in pesos is the gua gua again going to Sosua and Cabarete?

Am I right in thinking it's about 30-40 pp for a guagua from Sosua to the Iberostar Costa Dorada?

Take the guagua B from your hotel (Marien) to Parque Central - only 15 pesos each. Walk to the road to get a local taxi too - a lot cheaper than taxis inside Costa Dorada gate.

carro publico from POP to sosua is 35 pesos (40 pesos after 7pm).
guagua is usually 5 pesos less.
i took that trip last week.
if you do not have exact change keep your hand extended until you get your change back... :)

oh, and dominican price for a taxi from GO to POP is about 200 pesos. a guagua from main street to city center is 15 pesos.
