Word of advice, boricua, these go as inexpensive as US$37 a month, so ......careful what you ask for as it might not be exactly your definition of a rooming house :cheeky:! Inexpensive but acceptable are places at Papaguayo near Tropical Supermarket, around US$100 per month. Lots of young workers from Playa Dorada hotels stay there. They are separate apartments rather than rooms in a rooming house, pretty basic but acceptable.
We have rooms here at Hotel Castilla, center city, 2 blocks from Central Park and three from the mALECON. sAFE, QUIET. with private bath, cable TV, small frridge for 5000 pesos per month. others,4000 pesos or 3500 (bath vdown the hall) Joanne
