Thanks to all good advice on DR1 I contacted Jet Blue and got a very good information - THEY DO NOT CHARGE TICKET CANCELLATION FEES ON TRAVEL TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.
So far this no-penalty arrangement is in force for trips scheduled up to the end of February. In February it will be extended to March.
I want to express my appreciation to all positive and supportive DR1 members who helped these people to save their hard earned money.
So, if some other people with Jet Blue tickets want to cancel - it is without a penalty fee.
