Mexicana de Aviacion announces the start of its direct flights to La Romana International Airport to Mexico City in April on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight schedule will be:*

La Romana-Mexico: Depart at 4:10 pm Arriving at 7:55 pm
Mexico-La Romana: Depart at 10 am Arriving at 3:10 pm

The explanation for the flight would be that the Viva Wyndham chain, that operates the Viva Wyndham Dominicus and Palace in Bayahibe, about 20 minutes from the airport, also operates several resorts in Mexico.

Remember that there is no longer restrictions on boarding charter flights. But the flight was notified to us by the National Hotel & Restaurant Association and we understand it is a regular flight. Will double check.
