The president of the Dominican Olympic Committee Garibaldy Bautista swore in four new members of the board of the entity — Rubén Tejada (Tennis Federation), Miguel Camacho (Taekwondo Federation), Miguel Rivera (Handball Federation) and Gary Hernández (Table Tennis). An Ordinary Assembly of the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) was held to replace four resigning members and swear in the new members.
Garibaldy announced the statutes of the Dominican Olympic Committee would be up for amendments after the Paris Olympic Games this summer.
Likewise, Eugenio Pérez was approved to be the auditor to review the 2023 financial report and assume the position for the period of 2024.
