For expats this probably means mayor candidates for Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Santo Domingo Este, Boca Chica, Guayacanes (Juan Dolio), La Romana, Higüey (includes Bávaro/Punta Cana), San Cristóbal, Las Terrenas, Sosúa (includes Cabarete), Puerto Plata, Jarabacoa and Santiago de los Caballeros among a few others.
