This popular restaurant (locations in NY, NJ, Florida and Texas) is now open in Philly, across from the Rivers Casino. Our son attended the opening and is raving about the food and the atmosphere.

The one in NJ (near West New York I think) was good when I visited but it was pretty crowded. My son is in Philadelphia now so I will ask him if he plans on going. He liked the one in NJ when we went.

The only thing that I have heard is that the food quality is better at some locations than others. My son said he will go this weekend.

My son had mofongo “with some sort of delicious sauce over it”, topped with lobster and shrimp. He and his wife both said they never had anything so delicious before, and they’re both very picky. Presentation was over the top. He said it’s a little pricey but worth every cent.

I had that same exact dish in the Manhattan location… Delicious!
