Cheddy García is a well known Dominican comedian (she is even called “mamá del humor” or “the mother of comedy”) and an actress. She grew up in La Puya (the not nice part of Arroyo Hondo) and she has gone up to this all in the DR and through legit means. In a way a rags to riches story.
