Higher Education Minister Alejandrina Germán says that the Ministry is gradually getting back to normal. The Ministry had been only offering assistance online after the start of the state of emergency on 20 March 2020. As of Tuesday, 5 May, the Ministry says that activities will be re-established gradually to respond to the needs of the population.

Those who have already completed their studies and require official documents or procedures be expedited can again make an appointment to visit from 8am to 12 noon. The Ministry says the interested persons should go alone, wear a facial mask and maintain physical distance. The Department of User Services and the Legalization Service will serve only a limited number of persons to ensure social distancing protocols are kept.
