The Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CAASD) announced that during June, those paying their past due bills will get up to 50% in discounts. CAASD director, Alejandro Montas says the program seeks to motivate citizens to pay up their bills.

He said the discounts will range from 10 to 50%. Customers with up to three bills in arrears will receive a 10% discount. The 20% discount will be applied on the payment of service to users who owe four to six bills, 40% from seven to 12 and 50% to those who pay more than 12 bills in arrears.
