Biviana Riveiro, executive director of the Center for Export and Investment of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD), announced as of Tuesday, 6 October 2020, the center is to be known as Pro Dominicana. She says the new name seeks to better identify the activities carried out by the government agency. She said the government agency’s new action plan will give priority to the drive to help small and medium sized companies export.

Elizabeth Mena of the Dominican Association of Exporters (Adoexpo), also spoke during the re-launching of CEI-RD.
