The Board of Directors of the Technology Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC) is swearing in new rector Julio Sánchez Mariñez in a virtual session at 11am on 19 January 2021 (YouTube channel @INTECrd)

Julio Sánchez-Maríñez is a psychologist who graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), with graduate studies in Planning and Administration of Higher Education at INTEC and a doctorate in Organizational and Managerial Studies from the School of Business of the State University of New York in Albany.

Sánchez-Maríñez had served as Rector of the Salomé Ureña Higher Institute of Teacher Training (ISFODOSU) from 2013 until this year.
