A trough is mixing with a tropical wave and heavy rains will continue causing possible flooding and landslides in provinces in the northeast, southeast, and on the border with Haiti and the central mountain range.
The Center for Emergency Operations (COE) alerts people living in the National District and Santo Domingo province, and the provinces of La Vega, Monseñor Nouel (Bonao), Santiago, San Pedro de Macorís, Hato Mayor, San Cristóbal, San Juan de la Maguana and Elías Piña on the border with Haiti.
