The board of directors of Grupo Puntacana named Frank Elías Rainieri Kuret the new president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. He replaces his father, the original developer and founder of the Punta Cana tourism destination, Frank Rainieri. Rainieri Sr. will continue to serve as chairman of the board.

The company says the appointment of young Rainieri initiates a new phase that encompasses expansion strategies, diversification and consolidation of all the services offered by the organization.

Grupo Puntacana is the owner of the Punta Cana International Airport and numerous tourism-related developments in the provinces of Altagracia and Peravia.
