Wascar Antonio Marte Villar, son of Santiago Rodriguez senator Antonio Marte and Nina Villar died of Covid-19 on 13 October 2021. He had been in intensive care.
In solidarity, the Senate suspended the Wednesday, 13 October 2021 session.
Senator Antonio Marte is the owner of the Conatra public transportation company and several tourism ventures nationwide.
Wascar Antonio Marte leaves an orphan son, Ysmael, his parents and his siblings Yanet, Eunice, Wilson, Wanda Jatnna, Jean Carlos, Anthony, Miguel Ángel and Mayelin.
