The Ministry of Tourism is sharing recent tourism stats as the country prepares to end the year with new records in air arrivals. September tourist arrivals were at 365,540, October at 443,018, and November at 519,349 in 2021.

The number of commercial flights in November is 4,305.

Maritime arrivals are also recovering, with 30,609 in September, 34,396 in October and 61,915 in November 2021.

The Ministry of Tourism reports 80% occupancy of flights to the Dominican Republic. 52,984 hotel rooms were again on the market in August 2021, and this has increased to 61,028 in November 2021.
