José Sirí, Gigantes del Cibao / LIDOM
The Gigantes del Cibao, the San Francisco de Macorís-based team, leads the Dominican Winter Professional Baseball Championship with 4 wins of 5 games played. The Gigantes had won the regular season of the championship. All the other teams are two games behind. These are the Aguilas Cibaeñas, Tigres del Licey and Estrellas Orientales.
The games continue through 17 January 2022. They are being played at the Quisqueya-Juan Marichal Ball Park in Santo Domingo, the Julián Javier Stadium in San Francisco de Macorís, and the Cibao Stadium in Santiago.
