The weather forecast for Monday, 7 February 2022 is for scattered showers to continue with the danger of flooding in 17 provinces and the National District. The rainstorms are forecast mostly for the north, northeast, east, central southern coastline and Central Mountain Range of the country.

The Weather Office (Onamet) has placed fourteen provinces on green alert and three on yellow alert. Provinces under yellow alert are La Altagracia, San Pedro de Macorís and Hato Mayor. The green alert is issued for the National District, Santo Domingo province, San Cristóbal, Monte Plata, Monseñor Nouel, Sánchez Ramírez, La Vega, Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, Santiago, Hermanas Mirabal, Espaillat.
