Until recently, the huge health facility at the Luis Eduardo Aybar Health City, a designated unit for the treatment of the Covid-19 patients, will undergo a thorough cleansing and tidying up and begin receiving outpatient consultations in April 2022.

The Cecanot (Edificio A) will now have even greater capacity for non-Covid patients. According to the neurosurgeon Jose Joaquin Puello Herrera, now the head of the entire Health City, there will initially be consultations in gynecology, pediatrics, endocrinology, neurosurgery, cardiology, and physiatrics. Other consultations will be added as the areas are restored to their former status.

Dr. Puello celebrated the decline in Covid-19 cases, but motivated everyone to take preventive measures.
