Casa de Teatro announced the schedule for the Santo Domingo Jazz Festival 2022 that starts Thursday, 2 June and ends 28 July 2022 at Casa de Teatro, on Arzobispo Meriño Street in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. Due to the pandemic, the Casa de Teatro jazz festivals were not held in 2020 and 2021. The festival this year is dedicated to Guillo Carías, one of the precursors of jazz in the Dominican Republic.

Presentations are at 9pm and the opening of the festival on 2 June is with the Harvard Jazz Band.
