Eleven students from the Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture and Design schools of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) won the grand prize for Best Seismic Performance at the 19th Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.The competition was held in conjunction with the 2022 National Conference of Earthquake Engineering (NCEE) organized by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States from 27 June to 1 July 2022. The EERI is a global leader in earthquake investigations and dissemination of earthquake risk reduction information.
