Major League Baseball announces that the Caribbean Series 2024 will take place at the loanDepot Park in Miami, Florida, USA. As reported, the participating teams will be the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and two guest teams, Curacao and Nicaragua. Panama, Cuba and Colombia that competed as guests in 2023, will not participate in 2024.

The event has the support of the Miami Marlins team. “International baseball brings an unmatched energy and passion that we are excited to experience once again in 2024 as the first MLB venue to host the Serie del Caribe,” said Marlins Chief Commercial Officer David Oxfeld. The Miami ball park was also the site for the recently ended World Baseball Classic.

The Dominican Republic is the defending champion after the Tigres del Licey (Dominican Republic) claimed their 11th Serie del Caribe championship.
