The week starts with a forecast for sunny yet hazy skies and summer hot temperatures.

The temperatures for Greater Santo Domingo are 33-35C with a minimum of 23-25C.

Those seeking relief should head to Constanza with its forecast of 27-29C highs and 12-14C lows.Weather in Punta Cana will be warmer with forecast of 34-36C and lows of 24-26C. Puerto Plata will also be hot at noon with similar 34-36C, but slightly cooler evenings with 23-25C.

The Weather Office (Onamet) is monitoring the possible cyclonic formations associated with a tropical wave located 1,128 km east/northeast of the Lesser Antilles. This storm area is said to have a high probability (70%) of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours.
