Four Seasons announced on 12 September 2023 that it will be opening a branded Four Seasons in the new destination of Miches. The project is located along the southern shores of Samaná Bay, north of Punta Cana.

Four Seasons and Cisneros Real Estate announced they are joining to develop the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia, a sustainable luxury destination located on a 24-hectare site that includes Playa Esmeralda.

The project will combine the renowned hospitality and service of Four Seasons and Cisneros’ decades of business and investment in the Dominican Republic, Latin America and the United States. The project is slated to open in early 2026 with construction already underway.
