The Dominican Republic’s Reinas del Caribbean defeated Argentina 3-1 (16-25/25-19/25-20/25-17) on Wednesday, 25 October 2023 to make the finals of the volleyball championship in the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games. On the same day, Brazil would defeat Mexico for the right to match the DR in the finals.

The gold medal match will be transmitted on Channel 4 (RTVD) for local audiences on Thursday, 26 October 2023, at 7pm Dominican time.

The Dominican women’s team seeks a consecutive gold medal in the Pan American Games. The gold would be a third for the Dominican Republic in the Pan Am Games. The DR is ranked 8th in the world in women’s volleyball.
