As part of spring training, the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays will be in Santo Domingo for two matches at the Quisqueya Ball Park. The dates are Saturday, 9 and Sunday, 10 March 2024. Tickets go on sale online at Uepa Tickets on Tuesday, 12 December 2023 at 10am with prices ranging from RD$6,800 to RD$1,150.

The matches are part of the 2024 MLB World Tour. MLB explains that the Dominican Series of the 2024 MLB World Tour is an exciting opportunity to highlight Dominican talent playing in MLB and encourage the already thrilling baseball culture and fandom in the country.
