The executive director of the National Council of Export Free Zones, Daniel Liranzo confirmed free zone exports in 2023 reached US$8,06 billion, up 3.8% compared to exports in 2022. He said free zone exports are 70% of the total exports of the country.
Liranzo says this is a first time free zone exports surpass US$8 billion.
