Coach David Diaz of the Dominican national men’s basketball team announced the 12-member team that will face team Mexico at the start of the 2025 AmeriCup qualifiers in Santo Domingo.

The Dominican squad will be led by captain Víctor Liz, with players Juan Guerrero, Ángel Luis Delgado, Jean Montero, Luis Santos, Gelvis Solano, Andrés Féliz, Omar Silverio, Jassel Pérez, Eloy Vargas, Juan Miguel Suero and Jonathan Araújo.

The team was presented on Wednesday, 21 February 2024. The team is preparing for the first match of the qualifier, set for Friday evening at the Virgilio Travieso Soto Sports Palace of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center. After the match here on 23 February, the team will travel to Mexico for a second game on Monday, 26 February at the Mexico City Arena.
