The Ministry of Public Works announced the routine closure of various structures in Greater Santo Domingo through Saturday, 3 August 2024.
The tunnel on Las Americas Avenue between Venezuela and Sabana Larga avenues will be partially closed until Thursday.
The long tunnel on 27 de Febrero between Churchill and Abraham Lincoln, the elevated section of John F. Kennedy at the intersection of Ortega y Gasset, and the underpasses of 27 de Febrero at Tiradentes, and John F. Kennedy with Maximo Gomez avenues.
On Wednesday, the underpasses on 27 de Febrero with Tiradentes, Doctor Defillo and Carmen Mendoza, Nuñez de Caceres and Privada was affected by maintenance works as well as the elevated portions of Kenned and Lope de Vega, Tiradentes, and Abraham Lincoln. The Jacinto Peynado and Gregorio Luperon bridges were closed for these repairs.
